ELSES, LLC was formed by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) to assist U.S. engineering and surveying licensing boards with the national exam registration process.


Registration for the October 23-24, 2009, exams will be open in mid-July.

Examination Information

NCEES has begun releasing scores for the April 2009 examinations. If you took the exam in an ELSES state, please select your state below to see how you will receive your test results.

  • If your results are emailed from ELSES, you will receive an email notification from ELSES when your results are ready. Log in to your ELSES account to request your results.
  • If your results are mailed from ELSES, you should receive a letter in the next few days; if you do not receive your letter by June 30, please contact ELSES.
  • If your results are released by the state board, please check with your board for more information.

April 2009 Hand-Score Requests
If you would like to have your April 2009 exam scored by hand, make sure that you review the information found here and then complete and return the required form (instructions are included). Note that hand-score requests are not accepted for Alabama, Kansas, Mississippi, Oregon, and Rhode Island.

October 2009 Examinations
Registration for the October 23-24, 2009, examinations opens in mid-July. The deadline to register is September 4. Exam approval and registration requirements vary by state/jurisdiction. For information about the NCEES exams to be given on October 23-24, 2009, select your state/jurisdiction below to ensure you have followed the approval and registration procedures required by ELSES and your licensing board.
